Kwementyay Stockman

Kwementyay Stockman was from the Utopia Region and was well-known and respected for her contemporary style. She was the granddaughter of Billy Stockman Tjapaltjarri – the only living survior of the Coniston Massacre in Central Australia. Kwementyay passed away late November 2009. She will be remembered as an inspirational artist and at Mia Mia she will also be remembered as a friend.
